The latest session of our Beginning Quilting class wrapped up this week, and the finished quits were bright & beautiful! The quilts shown above are the creations of (clockwise from top left) Erica, Noe, Rochelle & Sara. My apologies to our other 3 class members, my camera phone really did not do your beautiful work justice!
These quilters jumped right in and were not afraid of color! The class started out talking about fabric selection then moved on to learn rotary cutting and get started with strip piecing techniques. Once the blocks were pieced, borders were added and quilt tops, batting, and quilt backs were basted together. The ladies then took their first foray into machine quilting finished up by binding it all it together! Don’t they look awesome?
Inspired? A new session of Beginning Quilting starts in 2 weeks! Please call to reserve your space!
