Thank you Seth for the video, I found it very helpful - only wished it lasted long enough to see you sew and finish one bird, little hints make such a difference to a &#039;first-timer&#039;.</description>

		<description>I made the mobile a few months ago, then saw this post and was inspired to make them as Christmas gifts (instead of buying Christmas cards). So far, I&#039;ve made 20, but I&#039;m sure that number will double by the weekend.

		<description>Made these birdies in black and white as cake toppers for my friends&#039; wedding cake, then sewed hangers on them for their first Christmas tree!  I also taught some mommy friends how to make these for our &quot;Mommy and Me&quot; Christmas tree in a local fundraiser.  They were super-cute!!!  Thanks for the pattern!</description>
