Love these birds, just found fabric today to start making a flock for next xmas. Thank you Seth for the video, I found it very helpful – only wished it lasted long enough to see you sew and finish one bird, little hints make such a difference to a ‘first-timer’.

I made the mobile a few months ago, then saw this post and was inspired to make them as Christmas gifts (instead of buying Christmas cards). So far, I’ve made 20, but I’m sure that number will double by the weekend.

Made these birdies in black and white as cake toppers for my friends’ wedding cake, then sewed hangers on them for their first Christmas tree! I also taught some mommy friends how to make these for our “Mommy and Me” Christmas tree in a local fundraiser. They were super-cute!!! Thanks for the pattern!
